Capt (Retd) Naveed Ul Haq

Director Administration

Capt Naveed has been with SEH from the very beginning and is considered one the founders of the hospital. He brings a lot of integrity and honesty to the job and makes sure the hospital runs smoothly for doctors, staff and patients. He was previously Chief Security Officer at Aga Khan University Hospital and having previously having served in the army, he has maintained his organizational skills and discipline in the hospital.

Capt Naveed is in-charge of the administrative side of the hospital, and also facilitates the patients when they are being booked for any surgical procedure. In his spare time, he enjoys going for walks, playing cricket and listening to music. You can email him at captnaveedulhaq@gmail.com

Dr. Mohammad Arshad

Anesthetist

Dr. Arshad joined us in 2005 and looks after the patients during their surgical procedures. He makes sure the patient is at ease and pain-free during the operation. Dr Arshad is also present during angiographies, to make sure the patient is well before they go home.

Shahid Shah

Theatre Technician

Diploma in Ophthalmic OT Technician (LRBT). Shahid joined SEH in 1993 as a theatre technician. He assists during eye surgeries and has vast experience in the different kinds of ocular operations.

Shahid Ali

Theatre Technician

Shahid joined SEH in 1994 as a theatre technician. He assists during eye surgeries and has vast experience in the different kinds of ocular operations. He also performs ocular imaging.

Lubna Mehboob

Female OT Technician and Clinical Assistant

Lubna joined SEH in 2002 and manages the clinic and theatre. Her responsibilities include registering the patient on arrival, using the auto-refractor and facilitating the clinic. She is also present during surgical sessions when a female patient is being treated.

Adnan Shaikh

Clinical Assistant & Refractionist

Adnan joined SEH in 2011 and plays an important role during clinics. He takes a clinical  history from the patient and does their refraction (checking the glasses power) and dilation before the consultants see the patients. The addition of Adnan to our team and vastly improved clinic times and patient waiting time has reduced.

Amir Mehboob

Accounts and Reception

Amir joined SEH in 1995 and looks after the accounts of the hospital. He also helps during clinics with registration and facilitation. Amir is known to be very courteous and respectful to the patients and tries to help everyone with his hard work. Amir enjoys playing cricket during his off-time and is a very good batsman.

Saima Kazmi

Clinical Assistant and Receptionist

Saima joined SEH in 2009 and plays an important role during clinics. Her responsibilities include registering the patient on arrival, using the auto-refractor and facilitating the clinic. She is also incharge of managing the surgical lists and ensures the timings pre and post surgery.

Taskeen

Clinical Technologist and Refractionist

Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology (DUHS).
Taskeen joined SEH in June 2014 as an ophthalmic technologist. Taskeen‘s responsibilities include refraction, ultrasound, OCT and FFA imaging. Taskeen is proficient in speaking English & Urdu and has become a vital cog in the SEH team.

Hashim Ali

Theatre Assistant

Hashim joined SEH in 2012 and a theatre assistant and has grown in his role. He has prior theatre experience at Akhtar Eye Hospital.

Mr Inaam

Theatre Assistant and Sterilization Incharge

Inam joined SEH in June 2011 after previously working in Akhtar Eye Hospital for a decade. He has a lot of experience in assisting ocular surgery and is also incharge of sterilization.
