What We Do

Argon laser:

This is done mainly to diseases of the retina caused by diabetes and hypertension. They are also used in eyes with retinal disorders which can cause retinal detachments. This laser causes photocoagulation of the tissues of the retina and thereby treating the lesions. This is done in clinic, where no sedation or anesthesia is required as its a painless procedure.

YAG laser:

YAG lasers are used to remove posterior capsule opacifications- a membrane that forms behind the lens implant after cataract surgery. These membranes causes some decrease in vision but is completely harmless and reversible with the laser. This is a painless procedure that lasts about 3-5 minutes. There is no aftercare and no restrictions after this procedure.
